Our History

A Foundation Built on
Compassion & Action

The Teenage Girls Rehab Foundation emerged from a recognition of a critical gap in Delta State: teenage girls facing homelessness, trafficking, substance abuse, and early pregnancy had nowhere structured to turn. Esther Ahunumefo Ebireri, driven by years of community advocacy, resolved to change that.

What began as grassroots outreach at the Sapele community level has grown into a formally registered NGO with structured rehabilitation programmes, scholarship pathways, and an on-site crèche — serving young mothers who would otherwise be forced to choose between their child and their education.

From the Sapele and Oghara conferences to hands-on vocational training, TGRF has made a measurable impact across Delta State, anchored always in the belief that every girl carries the potential to transform her own future.

"TGRF is built on a foundation of integrity and a commitment to a more inclusive community."

Guide Every Decision

Integrity

Every action TGRF takes is grounded in transparency and accountability — from our CAC and SCUML registration to open reporting on programme outcomes.

Compassion

We meet girls where they are — without judgement. Our programmes are designed around dignity, restoring a sense of worth and belonging to every participant.

Empowerment

Skills, scholarships, and mentorship are not charity — they are the tools of self-determination. We build capability, not dependency.
