Refund Policy

General policy: Donations made to Teenage Girls Rehab Foundation are generally non-refundable. Once received, donations are applied toward our programs and operations, often shortly after they are made.

We will consider a refund request if:

• The donation was a duplicate transaction (e.g., accidentally submitted twice).
• The donor made a clear error in the amount entered (e.g., an extra digit).
• The transaction was unauthorized or fraudulent.
• A technical or processing error occurred during payment.

Refund requests for donations must be submitted within 30 days of the transaction date. Requests made after this period will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis at the Organization's discretion.

Donors may cancel future recurring donations at any time by contacting teenagegirlsrehab@yahoo.com or through their donor account, if applicable.

Cancelling a recurring donation stops future charges but does not automatically refund past charges.

Refunds for a past recurring charge follow the same exceptions listed in Section 1.

For cooking competition forms and fundraising event tickets, the following cancellation schedule applies:

At our discretion, we may offer a credit toward a future event instead of a cash refund.

If Teenage Girls Rehab Foundation cancels or postpones an event, registrants will be offered a full refund or the option to transfer registration to a rescheduled date.

Please include:

• Your name
• Date of transaction
• Payment method used
• Amount
• Reason for the request

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method whenever possible.

Teenage Girls Rehab Foundation issues tax-deductible donation receipts in accordance with applicable regulations. If a refund is issued after a receipt has already been sent:

• The original receipt will be voided.
• A corrected receipt (or no receipt, if the full amount is refunded) will be issued to reflect the refunded amount.
• Donors are responsible for adjusting any tax filings that relied on the original receipt.

We recognize that individual situations vary. The Board / Executive Director reserves the right to approve exceptions to this policy in cases of financial hardship, documented error, or other extenuating circumstances, at the Organization's sole discretion.
