Five Communities.
One Consistent Presence.
Over three years of work, TGRF has carried its conferences and cooking competitions to five communities across Delta State — meeting girls where they are, in the towns and villages that formal programming rarely reaches.
Each event is identical in format: four resource persons, four subject areas, one cooking competition with 20 contestants, three top prize winners (household appliances), and 17 consolation prize winners (African fabrics) — ensuring that virtually every participant leaves with tangible value.

Feature Story
80 Hours.
A Nation Watching.
In May 2024, TGRF organized an official Guinness World Records attempt — an 80-hour team marathon cooking event held at the Sapele Athletics Club. It was the most ambitious event in TGRF's history.
The Attempt
A team of eight girls began the marathon on 27th May 2024. Cooking continuously without the requisite breaks disqualifying them, they pushed through heat, fatigue, and the weight of a nation's expectations. Five of the eight completed all 80 hours — reaching the finish line on 31st May 2024.
The Purpose
The event was designed with three goals: to create global awareness for TGRF; to give participants a platform to showcase their strengths and attract support for their businesses; and to draw attention — and development investment — to Sapele and Delta State.
The Significance
The event drew crowds from within and far beyond Sapele, bringing unprecedented attention to TGRF's work and the untapped potential of Delta State's girls. For the participants, it was proof of what focused determination can achieve — a lesson that outlasts any world record.

Rarely Teach
Each conference features four resource persons presenting four separate topics drawn from the following curriculum areas. These are subjects that address the real, daily pressures on teenage girls in Nigeria.
Body Hygiene & Self-Care
Practical guidance on maintaining personal and menstrual hygiene using affordable, accessible resources. A direct response to a gap many rural girls face.
Sex Education & STD Awareness
Up-to-date, frank education on sexually transmitted diseases, teenage pregnancy prevention, and navigating a highly sexualized media environment.
Career Guidance
Helping girls identify their natural talents and choose career paths that align with who they are — not what the world tells them they should be.
Peer Pressure & Relationships
Equipping girls with the tools to resist negative peer influence and establish healthy, protective boundaries in their relationships.
Time Management
Practical skills for structuring time around education, home responsibilities, and personal growth — essential for girls managing multiple demands.
Purpose & Destiny
Drawing from TGRF's faith-anchored foundation, this session helps girls discover and begin aligning themselves with their unique purpose and potential.

Nobody Leaves
Empty-Handed.
TGRF deliberately structures its cooking competitions so that virtually every participant leaves with something of real-world value. This is not charity — it is a calculated act of dignity, ensuring each girl's time and effort is honoured with a tangible reward.
The prizes are chosen for their lasting household utility — not trophies that sit on shelves, but appliances and fabrics that serve families for years. For many of these girls, winning a refrigerator or microwave represents a first.
Top 3 Winners — Household Appliances
The three best cooks in each competition receive kitchen appliances: refrigerators, microwave ovens, washing machines, blenders, and popcorn machines. Direct, lasting economic uplift for girls and their families.
17 Consolation Winners — African Fabrics
Every other contestant — all 17 remaining — receives a length of African fabric. A culturally meaningful gift with real material value, ensuring no girl walks away feeling like a loser.
Quiz Participants — Instant Prizes
Non-competing attendees and mothers participate in quizzes during the conference, receiving small kitchen items for every question answered correctly. Learning is rewarded in real time.

The Work
Continues.
TGRF is a growing organisation. A seventh conference is planned for the first quarter of 2026, extending our reach to even more girls across Delta State.
Beyond the conferences, the flagship goal is the construction of the first dedicated rehabilitation centre for girls in Delta State — a residential facility that will serve as home, school, and vocational training ground for 15 girls per 12-month cohort.
Conference 7 — Q1 2026
A seventh bi-annual conference is planned for early 2026, continuing TGRF's cadence of community education and skill-building across Delta State.
Rehabilitation Centre — Fundraising Active
The planned centre near Sapele metropolis will be the first of its kind in Delta State — a full residential, educational, and vocational facility for homeless girls and trafficking survivors.
NAPTIP Partnership — Planned
A formal collaboration with Nigeria's National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons, providing a referral pipeline for trafficking survivors into TGRF's rehabilitation programme.
